So this trip turned out a lot longer than I originally expected it to be.
I got home early wednesday morning after a horribly stretchy train trip that ended up in my being sick about 10 kilometers before Innsbruck (I reacted quickly enough at least to grab a bag and not soil anything or anyone).
I blame the Hare Krishna cookies that I bought earlier in the day and munched on the train ...
The Puszta was interesting, although I must say I was a little bit disappointed, too, because I expected lots of grass for miles and nothing else, but there still were lots of trees.
I went back to Budapest then and K tried to hook me up with a friend in Serbia but she was not interested in meeting up so I went to lake Balaton instead ... And then home.
It was not the most inspiring trip on the planet. But after the exhaustive last few months it was needed.
I got a registered letter and someone scribbled a phone number on it... It is a local number and now I am really curious who that is, so I might call tomorrow.<
