So the european elections were today; I went and voted for an outsider party because at least they are small enough to not be able to say "I don't know about .... , but I asked my "expert in..." and he told me ...., so that is my opinion now".
They are not able to do this, because they cannot afford an "expert".
My view regarding these elections is split; I want to leave Austria after graduation to move to Australia, maybe forever, and even if that doesn't work out I would not come back here, but move elsewhere.
So I don't feel I have any right to vote here, because it won't effect me. It always irritates me, when someone who hasn't been living in their country for years but has the citizenship gets to vote, whereas any foreigner who has been here forever, sometimes been born here, can't, when they are effected much more.
